He Knows Your Name

Issues with hearing those 3 words

Each time you hear it; sounds so absurd

You say, “who could ever love me,“

who could ever shout that truth so openly?”

Many of us feel as though we don’t belong

In this corrupt, harsh world full of wrongs

But if you know me by now, then you know…

I’ll tell you of a Friend, a Father, Who won’t let go

Of your heart, and of your hand

By your side He will always stand

You watched Him do a miracle in me

You watched as only He could set me free

From myself, from them, from it all

As I heeded and listened to His call

If you need me, I’ll be here for you

In every battle I’ll help see you through

But know there’s nothing you can do

To stop Him from loving you!
