Dear broken soul,
Where does it hurt the most? Where is the crack?
Did someone hurt you with words they could never take back?
Is it your heart that aches deeply day and night?
Or was something seen that took away your sight?
Dear wounded soul, turn your eyes to the sky. There are answers to every question you’ve been asking why.
Beyond the glimmer of the sun; beyond the blue…there’s a River of Healing glue: Waiting to be poured onto you.
Adhesive that penetrates into the deepest of cracks. To fill in and bring Joy where happiness lacks.
Oh broken soul remember this because it always will ring true…before He made a thing He was thinking of you!
Did these answers not give you the Comfort you seek? Then with every drop of blood pouring down in a streak,
Did His blood flow.
He didn’t have to die, you know.
He could’ve called it off at any time
If he had, He wouldn’t be able to give his message through me to you…”Wounded Soul, You’ll always be Mine!”
Sharing this, Amy. It is an anointed message for the hurting.

Share away! I wrote it in response to a comment on my post yesterday wanting to know what would you say to get a broken soul to turn back to God?

Isaiah 61.1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound
And the Spirit of the Lord God is upon you, Amy.

Amy, that was my son Brandon that just commented. I read that out loud to him. As I was reading it to him I got choked up at the end.

Sally Klein O’Connor, a Christian artist, said, “there are scars in my heart where once there were wounds. Grace has taken painās place” I guess we all need to deal with brokenness as a gift from our Lord. God bless!
