Whimsical Thoughts

Got my mind on heaven today…here’s something from last year I wrote on heaven.

I wonder if in death the age a person remains in heaven. Babies stay babies? Children are still children?

Are there grannies pushing swings of angelic children, giggling laughter ringing through the air?

Can you hear slapping of bare feet on golden streets as the children run and play?

Do the children swim in waters made of chocolate and dive into marshmallow pits in their spare time in eternity?

No peer pressure in heaven. No bullies to stand up to. No drunk mommies and no feelings of abandonment. No measuring and comparing in heaven. Pure bliss.

Do the children get down on their knees on the edge of heaven and peer down upon us? Do they cross their fingers and hope we will behave and make it to them?

Do they slip reminder notes saying, “Make our mommy a double rainbow today” into the pockets of dispatched angels? Our guardian angels, our warring angels, speaking peace and carrying God’s love in their hands?

Do the children run to the table to dine with the Master…eating all their fruits and veggies…with no complaints?

Am I the only one that wonders these things? Comment if you’d like of what you imagine will be in heaven.

  1. Oh, chocholate rivers I’ve thought of too! Is that a woman thing? And oh will we fly on the backs of dragons to see all the beauty from up high or have our own wings to soar thru the air. The most gorgeous flowers in colors you’ve never seen and the tastiest juiciest fruit you can eat as you please. No more tears, sorrow or pain. Love all around! And the best part to be in his presence, forevermore…can you imagine?

  2. I can only imagine what it will be like! As I get older I’m starting to think more about heaven and what it will be like. I can’t wait to worship God at His feet for the rest of my life! I can’t wait to see people praising and shouting on the streets of gold. I can’t wait to see no more pain, sickness, sorrow, all we will see is joy. Joy unspeakable! What a day it will be when I see my Jesus face to face.❤

  3. I believe Heaven will contain only fully sanctified(our final sanctification) adults about age 33 as we were then. We will be worshiping God for all eternity, with our whole perfect being thru Christ Jesus. Babies and Chrildren will be adults in God’s perfection. We will know each other as we did in life as thru Christ’s knowledge of the living and the dead. Joy in life far beyound our human mind can picture.:)

  4. You have me “Feeling Mighty Fine…”

I woke up this morning feeling fine I woke up with heaven on my mind
I woke up with joy in my soul cause I knew my Lord had control
I knew I was walkin’ in the light cause I’d been on my knees in the night
And I’d pray till the Lord gave a sign and now I’m feeling mighty fine

Time.

  6. Wow! Makes me want to cry! I feel that everything good that your heart desires on earth will be in heaven. Every sound, smell, taste, sight that brought you happiness, will be there. Even that favorite pet you loved so dearly! ❤️
