Grandma, grandma let me in!
Let me show you how I can twirl and spin!
Grandma, grandma open the door!
Let me show you how you don’t have to tie my shoes anymore
Grandma, grandma put on your glasses!
Let me show you how well I’m doing in my classes.
Grandma, grandma come and sit down
Hold me and hug me, turn my frown upside down.
Grandma, grandma please let me stay the night
Be there for me when I awake in a fright
Grandma, grandma come and teach me something new
Teach me grandma, how to follow God and be just like you!
Amen and amen! And amen!

Such a privilege to be a grandmother, especially when your grandchild says, “Nana, you love Jesus more than anybody else I know.” ❤ ! (Such a privilege to have grandchildren with tender hearts.)
The message in this beautiful poem is clear: GRANDPARENTS – You are important!!! In this culture that sometimes disregards the older generation, it's good to know God still has plans – and they are marvelous!

Thank you for your comment. As a mother I’m so blessed to have a godly grandmother in my mother/law for my girls

I hope parents allow / plan more and more of grandparents into kids’ lives.

My Granny on my dad’s side bought me my first Bible, which I still use today and she is actually the one that got me hooked on Christian Rock…lol.
I miss her dearly…

Well, I see that the comment did make it there, but it didn’t show up on my end as sent? 🙄 Sorry for double comment…She will love camp! I know you will be a worried mommy though…

Yes it seems terrifying to send her off. At least I get to take her down there and unpack her and control a little bit before they kick me out! Lol

I can remember those days with both my girls. Those were the best times. I will be praying Moma can make it through the week without her baby girl!

I, Elfriede, had two totally different grandmas growing up but loved them both and learned so much from them. I am trying to be a good grandma but our grandchildren live 10 hours drive away which makes it difficult for frequent visits.
Thank you for sharing those beautiful words. Blessings, Elfriede
