I know you didn’t want your father’s life to end

Try to be comforted that sickness he no longer has to fight
He closed his eyes for the sleep he needed to get
He woke in heaven where he and Jesus finally met
As they pull up their chairs to the banquet to dine
Your father tells the father, “I’ll wait to eat until I see that Sarah of mine.”
