Many wonder what ever happened to me. The tree of Life…where could I be?
Some may think I’m in a another realm. Or that I’m just an old rotten elm.
Ever since that day, all I see is a flaming sword in my way.
Each time I blow around, I no longer can hear the sound.
Heavenly chimes once came from me, Heavenly life for all eternity.
A choice was given, I wasn’t chosen. So now I wait, my produce frozen.
My leaves will soon heal every nation. All will come together, people of every station.
Until the Angel’s let down their swords. As they listen to our Master’s words…
The trump will sound and my twelve fruits will ripen. Hands will pluck from me, and faces will brighten.
Ever wonder where the Tree of Life went off to? Well Kathy did yesterday, which sparked comments on her post of where others think it may be. You can read all of that here.
What do you think happened to the Tree of Life? Do you think God plucked it out of the ground as we would pick a dandelion and stick it up in heaven? The bible says it’s up there. Or do you think He simply grew a new one? Where do you think the angels that were set about it went? Still standing at attention with their flaming swords?
Rev 22:1-2 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
very lovely Amy!

Well thank you! Somedays it’s so hard to be inspired in this world we live in until we look at each other

A lovely poem Amy! I have wondered if it still existed, hidden from the world?

I’ve wondered about it, too! I heard someone say he thought it had been in Jerusalem and that is why Christ was crucified there. It is a mystery!!!!

Excellent thought and sharing Amy. I believe it was at the cradle of civilization near the Mesopotamia (Fertile Crescent) where the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers merge. However, we would worship it today if it was still visible. No doubt God hid it from our sight until the day the Lord decides to reveal it. 🙂

Yes very true. We definitely would worship it. I Didn’t think about that.

Unfortunately that is part of our human nature until we leave this present world.

Amy, thank you (and Kathy). I believe that the “tree of life” was Christ, saved for us who believe and receive Him ~ abundant life ~ today and forever. Blessings.
