3,2,1 Quote Me Challenge

Thank you Stu for asking me to do this challenge.  Like Kathy said…this is an easy, quick one. Which got me thinking 🤔 Do I really have to follow these rules? I’ll list the rules for you but I think I’ll break them for my part. Yes this is outward rebellion at its finest. But I’ve never wrote about freedom. So why write what others say about it, when I can tell of the freedom our God has given me. My word given to me was freedom.

The Rules Of This Challenge Are As Follows:

• Thank the Selector

• Post 2 quotes for the dedicated topic of the day

• Select 3 bloggers to take part in ‘3.2.1 Quote Me!’

• And give them a topic/word

MY FREEDOM STORY

Like a puppet I’d walk to that pill

Crush it, smash it, snort it

Like prior generations that bottle would call to me

Toast it, sip it, chug it

Led by my nose, following ribbons of smoke

Roll it, lick it, light it

Until He came and set me FREE!

Falling on my knees handing over my guilt

Confessing it, releasing it, turning from it

Running toward the sight of cleansing waters

Proclaiming it, submerging it, burying it

Hands of a now clean vessel reaching high

He filled it, He sealed it, He FREED it.

      1. Transfagarasan, Transalpina, Girliste, Ochiul Beiului, Izgorul, and more… I am going to consolidate them for a new post… and add something about day-to-day life here versus there. You inspired me to do this and I thank you for that! 🙂
