Thank you to Puzzles of The Soul for nominating anyone to accept this award. I accepted it and answered the questions because they’re fun to me, not for the whole award part of it.

Questions for my nominees:

1. Which country you belong from ?

I reside in America and have never left this country…someday I’d like to travel abroad.

2. Whom you are closer to in your life i.e. either mom or dad?

I was and still am closer to my father. I always wanted my mother to be a “mom” but she wasn’t. I do now have the coolest and greatest mother-in-law and am very blessed to be loved by her.

3. What is you dream destination?

HEAVEN! To see my children and mostly to see the One who loves me with a love no man can give! I’m hopeful for a bubblegum pink painted mansion on a street of gold over looking a lake of glass or chocolate!

4. What is your favorite movie?

When I was younger it was 16 Candles, but I have found my Jake Ryan, lol. Now I’d have to say Pride&Prejudice…

5. What is your favorite hobby?

Um blogging, duh! Seriously, writing and reading…

6. What is your greatest strength?

I’m friendly and outgoing. I meet many, many people because of it. There are some who run the other way from me, because of my probing personality… but I’ve learned to dial it back and use it to get close to people. Miest people just wanna be heard.

7. What is the meaning of love to you?

John 15:13 “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”…what Jesus did on the cross is the ultimate definition of love. We mere mortals try our best to emulate a tiny portion of it as we are not capable of the fullness of what He did.

8. Who is your best friend?

My husband for the most part and my mother in law for the things that men just cannot understand!

9. Do you believe in God?

Yes with all my heart.

10. Can you live without your smartphone for just one day?

Hmm…I’d like to say yes but I’m not too sure. Maybe I should try. Tomorrow…or the next day, or the day after that!

11. Are you happy with your current life?

I used to think the first year I got saved was the best year of my life and couldn’t be topped…until this past year. It started October of last year until now. The journey God has taken me on has been one of healing and growth! Yes I’m happy. I’m truly happy. Doesn’t mean there aren’t hard days or hard times but I’m happy with me. My 9 year old came up to me just the other day and said, “I like being me!” That set off a thought for me…how many people, saved or not saved can say that? I can, now. I like being me and I love that God loves me!
