Lord I’m Ready

The sound of heavy bricks crumbling rips through a quiet night.

A breeze of air blows through the opening that was walled up for decades.

The scent of oil mixed with honey fills the air with an anointing fragrance.

A light fills the space where there was always darkness, illuminating it’s way.

Wrapping the space, a warmth radiates in the rays of the light.

A manna lightly flitters down from above, it lands on the new open space.

Looking closely at the sustenance, words are written on each piece manna…Mercy, Grace, Forgiveness, Redemption, love, joy, and peace.

Where there once was a wall. Where there once was no hope. Where there once was shame. There is a new life!
