Thanks again to my buddy Stuart over at Something to Stu Over for this nomination. Also looks like my Kathy Wire nominated me too! Yes I said my Kathy, as I have adopted her as my own blogging kindred spirit! Kathy, you rock!

Took me a couple days to figure out a random act of kindness done to me that really blew me away. Like Stuart’s story of receiving money from a stranger because God told the stranger to give him money. Now I was the one with Something to Stu Over! Lol. I started to get discouraged…Suddenly it hit me today when I put on my deodorant! Seriously!

You see, my husband got the groceries last week and I put deodorant on the list. Looking closely at the brand and yes even the scent I realized he got the kind I use! I then had these mini-flashbacks of things he’s done for me that no one has done for me. I’m pretty particular about how my blankets go and when he worked 3rd shift some nights I’d find my blankets laid out on our bed in the right order how I like them! I see the big sacrifices he makes for me and our children everyday. And it warms my heart to finally have someone who knows me and cares to know even the scent of deodorant I wear!

I nominate Jackie. She’s a new blogger, check her out!

Jesskidding taking everyday life and looking at it from a spiritual perspective.

ATimeToShare a place to go for a laugh and for insightful reading and a feeling of kinship.

Jessy my new book reading friend. She reads and reviews books and shares her life with us on her blog.

Matt at Jesusluvsall  one of every ten of his posts are just about this very subject! How someone, a student or a stranger impacts his life and keeps him positive and upbeat.

Bruce even though he doesn’t do awards (or so I don’t think he does) I challenge him to do this one! I enjoy when he writes from the heart♡

  1. God bless him!

It reminds me of the scripture my adoptive dad will always quote to my husband and I just before he ends every phone call: “Be kind to one another, tender hearted. Forgiving each other even as God in Christ forgave you” – puts it all in perspective, charity does begin at home 😍

  2. Oh Amy! I’m trying so hard to play along with the “Random Acts of Kindness”…but I’m having such a hard time. Thank you for nominating me. I’m just struggling with how to do this. I can’t figure out how to “ping”. I thought I had it the other day but I can’t remember now and then I tried to copy the photo but all I can do is save it to Pinterest. I’m just failing miserably at this. There’s just so much I don’t know how to do on WordPress yet. I just recently figured out how to add tags! (seriously)…I’ll keep working on it but wanted you to know I’m just a little slow.

    1. It’s ok. Up at the top of all your little extras between your title and the body of your writing there’s a strew of symbols. One looks like a link. That’s what you use. I Google it on how to do it when I first started. So don’t feel bad. The image you could do a screenshot of it. That’s what I did. If all else fails and you really wanna do one. Just do one your way. Talk about what you want and don’t add the pings or links. Just type out the names. And skip the pic
