My word was peace…I wrote about peace in two different ways. Quote 1 is defining peace and what it means to me. Quote 2 is my way to personify peace and speak to it. Peace is something I lack in certain situations. It’s something I want to aquire…but yet I’m pretty sure it’s something we all have to grasp onto, hold on tight and fight tooth and nail to keep in our lives.

Quote 1.

Peace…a quiet, calm after the storm of war. Conflict dissolved.

Peace…Silence tiptoeing in eloquence through the night. Not a sound in sight.

Peace….A relief after a flushing of tears. The restoring of a troubled soul.

Peace…Heaven’s doors opening, releasing angels carrying the remedy for our weary hearts.

Peace…Be still. Be calm. Be not frightened. Be assured. Be confident in our Lord.

Quote 2.

Peace I ask you to:

Unbind me from torment!

Release me from shame and regret!

Wash over over me and fill me from the top of my head to the tips of my toes.

Raise my chin to look in the mirror, that I make amends with my old self.

Do your irreversible work in my heart that I may abide in you, that I may be harmonious with you.

Teach me your ways, peace. How I long to be your student.

Overflow me that I may have extra to hand out to others.

My word for my 3 nominees is POWER

My nominees are:

  1. That’s beautiful, Amy. You’re beautiful.
I correlate your work here to the passage in Proverbs 3, about Wisdom, especially verse 17: Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace.
    Bless you. ❤
